Cute Kylee

Some of you have emailed and asked about Kylee - it's been almost 9 years since some of you have seen her! She is doing great - she will be 11 this July and can't wait to be "all grown up!" She is a very social girl (wonder where she got that from?) and loves doing things with her friends. She loves to giggle and be goofy. (again, where did she get it!) She is very interested in ice skating - she's gotten very good. She also found an interest in Volleyball when I coached her little team last Fall. She's a huge help with her little brother and sister - Brinkley loves to copy every little thing Kylee does. She's also very artistic - drawing, painting, creating things - she loves it all. Anyway, here's some of the most up-dated photos I have of her. As you can see, she's getting too grown up, too fast!

First Sunny Day

Yesterday was the first of what I hope to be a chain of sunny days. It was beautiful. We have had snow since September and our feelings of being trapped inside are about driving us crazy. We got to go over to the in-laws for dinner - Charlie is home from collage - so we enjoyed their backyard for a while! Brie really loved playing with her Uncle Charlie - he's so fun!

Brie was also into showing us some of her best "poses" - what little ham! :) She has decided she really likes having her picture taken. Ahhh, I love the sunshine!

Loved the class!

I got to take a photography class on Saturday and it was great! It was all day and I was given SO much information! I'm glad I taped it because I know in a week I wont remember most of it, that's just what happens when you have kids and kill off all your brain cells! :) Of course, now I feel like I need to buy everything we talked about it class - that always happens. But I am super excited to get started shooting again - now that the weather is getting a little nicer. It's always nice to apply what you've learned. Anyway, here's a shot that I took of the falls - it's not great, but hey, I'm still learning. (I don't like to take pictures of "stuff" anyway - only people)

New to Learn

I am very new to all of this "blog" junk - it looks like I have something new to learn how to do.

While on the phone the other day with my mother she was saying that she wished she had a way to stay more connected with her family and grandkids. So mom, here's to you! I'll try my best to update often and add some video and then you can feel like you're right in my living room!
